I love the description of “building an endless candy jar”….even if it came with the unfortunate mental image of uniformed police and the like drooling.

I’ve always enjoyed reading Lessig. I would highly recommend reading his book “Free Culture” that is available as a .pdf on the net. And once done, see if you agree with my essay based on said work. :>
