How DARE those uppity women use their rack for the biologically intended purpose?! I breast-fed all three of my children, sometimes in public, too. I must have been intimidating — anyone starting towards me all righteously inclined ALWAYS turned away before speaking. Maybe I was channeling a bit of Medusa-gaze?

The same thing occurs when I tell people that the feminist argument, comparing the enslavement of African-Americans in the U.S. to women staying in abusive relationships, is completely ridiculous and fallacious.
Slavery wasn’t just a “bad marriage.” Equating it to same is beyond ignorant.
