Fundamental Christians are Death-mongers, and Warmongers while the sane rational people in America are trying to ring in the reigns. Yeah, that sounds about right.

While I agree that fundamentalist christians have hijacked the republican party, I also stress the importance in differentiating between fundamentalists and normal people who believe in God. The majority of amercans believe in God, while the vast majority of those who do could not be classified as “fundamentalists”.
Having just established that, I honestly do not see how fundies could have totally taken over the right wing. But they did. I think perhaps republicans overestimate the number of fundamentalist christians in this nation and cater to them. Sometimes the people that scream the loudest appear the biggest. I dunno.
