Looking forward to your take on Ghomeshi. Hundreds, if not thousands of women have flocked to his defense. So what if he’s accused of assaulting FOUR women, all 20-some years younger? He’s cute, seems super nice and is famous. Even if they’re only accusations so far, four of them is a lot. I’m with the four women. Be strong, women. Don’t let the media make Ghomeshi the victim.

Hello. I receive your posts in my email, and often read them within my email, and then “Like” them from my email, but it seems that the “Like” link is no longer working from email and is the star is not showing up on blog entries (though it does still show up in your comments section) where I used to click it sometimes also… it seems this is not only your blog but with others as well.
Are you aware of an interface change with WordPress. I’ve googled this and found nothing.

WordPress is slowly changing things behind the scenes, the process involves breaking things and hopefully catching the oopsies and continuing on. I would go to the WP help forums and post exactly what you wrote here and let them know something they have done isn’t quite right.

I’ve said some nasty things in the past about your views. I don’t care anymore, no longer being a blogger. But I keep getting these emails in my junk folder about “Commenting Suggestions” for your blog. Could you please stop them?
My suggestion from the beginning, if you, like me want women to be safe and earn equal dollar, you have to stop acting like a prude. To get something, you often have to give (up) something. (Men, too.)
Naked pictures of women, young and old (there’s a huge volume for ‘older women’ and ‘BBW’ on men’s blogs but nothing on womens’ blogs about ‘short,’ ‘lacking confidence,’ ‘BBM’ ‘older men’). Mmmm. In fact, there’s nothing there at all.
Where would poor men, men injured ugly in war, old men still viral, dwarves, non-categorically-considered- good-enough-looking males find any intimate pleasure other than themsleves and the photographs of women of all types which inspire them?

So I have found out why the like-star has disappeared from the wordposts… not because of WordPress changes, but because of AdblockPlus filters. I know you suggest AdblockPlus, but I think we should be able to determine which filter prohibits the like-star. Just haven’t done it yet.

If left to a natural development without interference, statistically a human zygote in western cultures will have a life expectancy of around 70-80 years.
The mental process for a woman to justify abortion for social reasons is exactly the same mental process utilised by any common murderer who seeks to kill another for social reasons. It is selfish, ruthless & domineering to kill as a social choice. For a parent to kill their own offspring, this is to betray the trust that the child had to have in the mother. Women who consent to abortion for social purposes imbue a ruthless, selfish, domineering & traitorous stain on the persona & this can be no more removed from the persona, than to bring the dead back to life. MEN…..do not expect to have a meaningful relationship with a woman who earlier in her life has consented to abortion for social purposes, because you will become involved with a woman who has already permanently imbued on her persona a selfish, ruthless, domineering & traitorous stain. If she has already selfishly, ruthlessly & domineeringly betrayed her own flesh & blood offspring, you therefore have no hope of having a meaningful relationship with such a killer. When women are allowed to kill (by abortion) this serves to undermine the entire ethical & legal foundations of our culture. How can some be allowed to kill, yet others who peaceably transgress (for example drug laws) are still being harshly persecuted? Abortion-on-demand undermines the proportionality by which our laws can be administered. When sufficient numbers of such killers are allowed to infuse our culture, this creates a ripple-effect to negatively affect the entire Occidental World. Broken marriages/relationships caused by ruthless, selfish, domineering & traitorous women, impacting negatively upon any later procreated children, who have their formative years ruined by divorce/separation, because men cannot cope with being shackled to a ruthless, selfish & domineering traitor.
If a woman does not want to become pregnant, then remain chaste.
Otherwise, take responsibility.
The above account (hard won by personal experience) is why abortion for social reasons is totally unacceptable in any culture.

Hi Ronnie.
The term terf is an acronym for Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminist. In most cases its usage is a slur used against women who have the temerity to say no to the misogyny that is gender ideology.
Any community isn’t a monolith. So your answers will vary.
All women, defined as adult human females, are included in feminism and I would assume would have a place in female only / lesbian spaces.
