By the gods, this was mighty powerful! I wonder if the arguement holds though if you view hell as more of temporary purgatory that’s more about learning and grieving than actual physical pain….

So you only get to burn for a little while? I’m thinking any sort of torture imposed arbitrarily by a purportedly omnibenevolent being is kinda crappy.

Why does God never heal burn victims? or amputees? Why is it always some vaguely defined internal illness!

You’ll find that many tenants of religious thought/practice are “vaguely defined” and necessarily so.
One cannot get nailed down to provable, testable occurrences with the interwebz and knowledge (some of it even good) becoming more available I predict we’ll see an increase in the religious talking about unfalsifyable mumbo-jumbo on much more regular basis.
