Cats are smuggling cell phones into prisons.
These shifty felines are the next wave of getting your cargo from A to B, no questions asked.
“Guards thought there was something suspicious about a little white cat slipping through a prison gate in northeastern Brazil.
A prison official says that when they caught the animal, they found a cellphone, drills, small saws and other contraband taped to its body.
Alagoas state prisons spokeswoman Cinthya Moreno says that the cat was caught New Year’s Eve at the medium-security prison in the city of Arapiraca.”
I wish my cats were this crafty, but rather than smuggling, they seem to specialize in eating my plants and barfing on my rug.

At least they’re not using cats as a way to steal a warehouse full of maple syrup.

It would never work, the Cats, no matter how well trained would remain at the scene of the crime, licking up the tasty nom-nom syrup. :)

Actually, cats apparently can’t taste sweet.

Really? I did not know that. Tasting sweet is fairly big evolutionary advantage, but perhaps not as necessary when you are catching rodents and the like.
