Ah yes, the ousting of Whitlam. I was just chatting with someone about that a few weeks ago. The sad thing is, most Australians aren’t even aware of the real backstory.

*sigh*. The mendacious hypocrisy is everywhere, you just have to scratch the surface and you get reams of documentation describing the dark-skunkworks we set up and attempt to mold world affairs with. Funny how spreading democracy looks a lot like fomenting reactionary coups in so many cases.
