Well it is quite obvious that the people with the missing body parts are not praying enough, or devoted enough, or pure enough. Because if they were *truly* dedicated to the Oooga-Booga that shit would happen – like turn on a dime happen.

Religion is not magic, it doesn’t even provide good sleight of hand. It’s just business. Magic requires imagination. Religion requires brutish acceptance of pre-invented crocks of brain dead malarkey. On par with politics, and the financial system accompanied by the gambling casino. Prayer is putting your chip in the slot and pulling the handle.
