Thanks Think Progress.
Pictures sometimes often insight into situations that mere words cannot describe. The level of wing-nuttery is quite amazing as these two fine stupified individuals can attest to. The problem is, it gets worse.
Take that Communism! Take that National Socialism! We are prepared to kill people who do not agree with us. I can feel the debate broadening already with these fine open minded induhviduals. Oh..and throw in some delusional religious douchatude for flavour, because we all know GOD is completely against universal healthcare.

These people hate democracy. They want an authoritarian right-wing government.

I’m am always impressed with the level of crazy and ignorance on display in rallies such as these. I’m pretty sure that they have been voting against their interests up till now, but now have a venue to express exactly how out-to-lunch they are.

Did they even go to school to display such ignorance? I can’t believe how many people are being manipulated so well they become activists for corporate interests.

I believe the ignorance that the Tea Baggers display is a of a learned variety. We have similar people here in Alberta, who at the very mention of increasing royalty rates, bring up the NEP and begin to swagger and froth about evil Canadian Easterners and the great Satan that was the federal government at the time.
These people also do not believe in rights for women, non-hetrosexuals and immigrants. They believe that climate change, like evolution is a myth. While unabashedly saying the church of christ is coming back to earth and soon.
I believe that most people do not take the time to critically examine their opinions and how they are formed. The TBers in the US and the fringe of the alliance/reform/conservative party here in Canada exemplify what the unexamined life looks like.
Oh, and thanks for stopping by jay, I saw some of your posts at Moe’s place. It looks like another rational Canadian has found Moe’s happy blog house. :)

Do you know how many Albertans are concerned about the environmental impact of the tar sands?
Here in Montreal, we talk a lot about global warming, but we don’t seem ready to put our money where out mouth is.
