While Obama is better than Bush in so many ways, in so many other ways I just don’t like him. He starts negotiation in the middle ground and ends up soundly in his opponents ideological ground as a “compromise”. If I were a progressive in the USA I’d be voting 3rd party this coming election. Other than all the campaign promises he waffled on, dithered on, or otherwise broke, why would I want Republican-light in office when I could have the real thing and start working for change in the democrats.
Obama – Talked a good progressive game, walks a good conservative game.
