Cats are such regal creatures, all elegance in motion… and then there’s V at rest. I swear he does have the usual number of legs and joints and bones.
I love that this Anti-Feminist poster in Canada angers so many Feminists.
I’m also happy that attention is being called to the increase of false rape allegations.
Feminists want “equality”, but when a man is falsely accused of rape…they don’t care, and don’t do anything to help that man.
They are hypocrites.
Fun Fact! Only 2-8 % of rape reports are false. Even funnier fact : it’s equal or even under the percentage of false accusations of other crimes. Just for example, 10% of car theft reports are false reports. Taking into account that 46% of rapes aren’t even reported and 97% of rapists never even spend a day in jail, false rape accusations are a non-issue, really.
You’re the rape apologist hypocrites.
They know that rape is part of male sexuality under patriarchy, that is why they work so hard to defend their right to keep raping without facing any consequences.
They ripped off the “Don’t Be That Guy” anti rape posters and illegally posted their pro rape posters.
I guess that is what passes for activism at A Voice For Men. Along with their efforts to convince their members to participate in jury nullification if a rape case ever makes it to trial. No matter how guilty the d00d is or how horrible the crime.
No wonder they call MRAs the abuser lobby.
Hello everyone,
What a restful/hectic week I’ve had over in Kaslo British Columbia as I touristed around Kaslo and participated in the annual choral workshop held in town. This trip was photographically sparse for me, but I managed to take a few pictures of the lake where we had the traditional Monday night wiener roast.
Yes, it really is that beautiful there.
I’m back home in Alberta now, and slowly finding my way back to my usual routine. Thanks all for your patience with a week of light but interesting posts.
“It is because society tells us that women are objects, not subjects, that when society is presented with a case of male violence or sexual abuse, everyone looks at it from his point of view: “Oh, he must have been provoked to have done that,” “He was a nice man who just snapped,” “He must have been confused by her signals,” “Maybe he’s been falsely accused, how terrible to have to go to jail for that.” With every victim-blaming, rape / violence apologist comment, society reveals through whose eyes it looks, and the answer is invariably the man’s. It is because society tells us that women are objects, not subjects, that even good men, when speaking out against violence against women, tell other men to imagine her as “somebody’s wife, somebody’s mother, somebody’s daughter, or somebody’s sister,” it never occurring to them that maybe, just maybe, a woman is also “somebody”.
It is frightening to consider just how deeply entrenched objectification of women really goes. We must certainly combat sexual objectification, but the battle will not end there. Women are objectified in more profound ways than we realise, and we must tear down every entwined shred of the patriarchy, in order to achieve our modest goal of being recognized and treated as human beings.

Fugue in G minor, BWV 578, “Little” (popularly known as the “Little Fugue”), is a piece of organ music written by Johann Sebastian Bach during his years at Arnstadt (1703–1707). It is one of Bach’s best known fugues and has been arranged for other voices, including in an orchestral version made by Leopold Stokowski.[1]
Early editors of Bach’s work attached this title to distinguish it from the later Great Fantasia and Fugue in G minor, BWV 542, which is longer in duration.
Many thanks to Stephen Malinowski for performing and translating the work into the visual medium presented above.
My ignorance knows no bounds. :) I count myself, after watching this video, just little more in touch with the basic stuffs that makes computer technologies work.
