I saw that at Salon and just about went off my personal rails. Hey, nobody would find it amusing if they had one that was a beat up MAN….and yet this shit passes as worthy of “don’t you have a sense of humor”.
No, I have murderous ideation….will that do as an alternate?

The imagery is bad.
But what is worse, as you mentioned, are the cultural messages that gloss this sort of evil over and seek to blame the questioner in someway for opposing something atrocious.
It’s Hitler standing on main f-ing street shooting Roma and the disabled, it’s every drone-strike that kills a wedding party, it is the systematic genocide that is every war – happening…right…in…front…of…dudes… who write this off as a joke, or normal or whatever frakking lame defense of their privilege they happen to extrude at the time.
And, obviously, the women who speak against this shit are the problem.

From the Salon article it looks as if it was mostly a publicity stunt, but the blatant nature of the whole shiteshow really puts this on the next level of hatred of women in our society.
