Shutdown this, markets crashing that. Hey, if the Americans want to self-destruct their country maybe they should start with Guantanamo Bay.

If they were cleared that long ago one would think they would have been transferred out by now. For that, I can’t imagine the psychological torture that would inflict.
As for the hunger strike? Foolish, and I don’t have a lot of sympathy. Security and order in any prison relies on the inmates never having control, and never “winning”. As for the complaining about how uncomfortable a cell toss, cell raid, a needle, or a food tube is? Make it difficult for prison staff, they make it difficult for you. It’s that straight and that simple. Complain that the mashed potatoes are too runny and you’ll get nothing but them for a week, or a month, or worse, you’ll get them shoved down your throat until you vomit. That’s how it works. You can’t change that system from within as an inmate and anyone who’s been in any kind of jail knows that.
If their innocence is what they say it is, however, I do hope for their speedy release to make more room for the guys who actually deserve a waterboard or two. ;)
