So many things ignorant with that graphic (and with it, disingenuous and manipulative).
Here’s the thing, though: a Capitalist response might well be that “the market has spoken”, but that would be just as ignorant. White majority, white purchasing power, white demand, therefore business and the market delivers, right? Wrong.
“Black audiences now have a buying power of $1 trillion and watch significantly more television than any other group”.
Is the rap music industry deliberately perpetuating some sort of “Blackiarchy” preventing me from accessing white rappers? Or is it just that the majority of them (like this guy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TXb6bjCCtuY) suck?
