A look into the pronoun teapot tempest –
“A quick note about “privilege,” before I get to the article. Privilege is the flip side of oppression, and it occurs when one group of people has material power over another group of people. Men, as a group, have privilege over women, as a group, because they are at the top of the sex hierarchy, they have material power over women, and they have the ability to extract resources from us. White people, as a group, also have privilege over people of colour, as a group, because we have material power to enact violence against people of colour without facing any repercussions, and we also have the ability to extract resources from them. Oppression happens on a structural level. It’s worked into the system.
People who use the correct pronouns for their sex do not have material power, as a group, over people who do not use the correct pronouns for their sex. People who understand the English language and human reproductive anatomy do not have any power to extract resources from people who invent identities for themselves. This situation does not constitute privilege and oppression, it’s merely a bunch of whiners who are upset that people don’t want to play a silly game with them. Universities should be teaching what privilege and oppression actually are, not confusing people over a very important social issue and turning it into something silly.”

Sounds like one group of whiners whining about another group of whiners.
Funny if it wasn’t so sad. Each trying to out do the other in the oppession olympics.

Lol. I’m a little tired. 5 hours sleep and working all day. I wasn’t able to extract any money or resources from all those women so I could have the day off.

Maybe I’m missing something or have a unusual set of acquaintances but nearly everyone I know it is the woman that is the dominant factor in the relationship. Sure, the average salary of women is less, but money isn’t everything….

A group of mostly atheist feminists have started a petition asking to stay Bill c-16 in order that the Canadian public and the medical community understand what are the politics and psychiatrics hiding behind the trans koolaid trend. Trans persons MOST certainly deserve safety as we all do. But policing language and destroying the definition of female should not be a cost of this quest for safety.
Canada’s parliament has approved this bill as is, without study of the effects on free speech and female safe spaces and female sports. Note the petition also includes a letter which has been sent to all Canadian senators.
We are looking for more action on this. https://www.change.org/p/jody-wilson-raybould-parl-gc-ca-stay-the-adoption-of-bill-c-16

The Priveldge issue IS silly to begin with. If I go out punching people of colour or women I’ll either get my ass kicked or go to jail or both and everyone with a lick of descency with look at me with disgust. Not that I would do that.
So no I can just comit acts of violence against other people, we have laws in this country.

Well that is just false Gyor, white males get away with WAY more shit than black guys. Just look at how few wife/girlfriend batterers go to jail, almost none. Look at all the love Jian G. got from males, look at how those white hoodlums gun-protesting Federal lands in Oregon last year. While living in Florida and dating black guys, you should see how cops flip their lids at black guys (in some cases my BF and I, just parking the car).
Privilege is a real thing (not being harassed by cops when doing nothing, being gunned down for doing almost nothing), but some SJWs (trans included) distort its meaning to ridiculous extents.

Maybe Gyor is referring to some other quality – “priveldge” [sic] could mean almost anything. :)

One could hope… but with a line like this:
“The Priveldge issue IS silly to begin with. If I go out punching people of colour or women I’ll either get my ass kicked or go to jail or both and everyone with a lick of descency with look at me with disgust. ”
He kinda made a clear statement… ;)
