“Offering treatments without an adequate understanding of benefits and harms is unethical.”
There you go. This is the very simple, very clear message to EVERY medical professional using interventions and therapies for supposedly ‘treating’ gender incongruity in young people. But this message must also go out to those who pretend ‘gender care’ is medically approved and justified as if from evidence and who then act on this misguided belief as if it were true. It’s not.
If one endorses ‘gender’ treatment – in any and all venues like schools and courts and legislatures and all public institutions, in homes where children are being affirmed for denying biological reality – one is unethical. Stop doing this. Just stop. One’s selected pronouns preferences and beliefs do not alter reality and we have to collectively respect this brute fact.

This report is just an extension of the court ruling made for a British case about the lack of informed consent for Kiera Bell rendered years ago: without an adequate understanding of benefits and harms about medical treatments offered by physicians, one cannot provide the necessary basis to justify ANY so-called consent by those receiving such treatments. Ipso facto. That’s why Bell won her case.
Our collective mistake is failing to recognize this fact. When it comes to treatments for gender affirming care, there cannot be informed consent. That’s why all of it is unethical. Every Last. Bit. No matter how righteous or kind or sympathetic or caring one thinks one is by doing so. All of it is unethical.
