To be clear, stats show that majority support for gender ideology comes from left-leaning urban women. Men have always been in the minority on supporting this issue and rural males single digit. So until more women specifically wake up and stop attacking women as a class (it’s over 80% support from urban liberal women between 39-64), they sure as hell cannot consider themselves feminists (and many do not). So it’s not the feminists who are to blame for this absolute socially disruptive gong show but all those clueless ‘very kind, very nice’ women raised in the 70s and 80s and 90s all too willing to go along to get along and keep their social reputation front and center.

Agreed.
I think a pernicious aspect of GI is that most people don’t really know what the core tenets actually are. As you said they, are still stuck on the illusion of ‘being kind’ and think that (somehow) they are being a good progressive.
The other aspect is the rabid class of acolytes that ruthlessly enforce the dogma and are accomplished at using social coercion, misdirection, and actual threats to quell debate and silence people. It is all very cult-like – There is a huge outer ring of people just following the thing and not knowing why, an inner ring where the doctrines are learned by rote with the intention to be able to propagate further the cult teachings, and then an inner circle who actually know what is going on and may or may not follow the dogma but will use whatever means necessary to gain and further cement their power and influence.
A key to the struggle against this totalitarian mode of thinking is exposing the rotten foundation of the cult ideology and jolt the normies out their passive slumber.

I agree.
In review, I see the post modern ‘progressive’ tumour metastasize into Identity Politics, then alter and capture the university language, then alter and capture how we educate the young, and then capture mass communication.
Turning this social juggernaut aside now without some calamity to motivate change I can’t see happening. But calamity is on the way, not least of which is a guaranteed turn to authoritarianism on every side of the political spectrum.
More likely is AI.
How many voices have been raised about the rising danger of machine learning AI? More importantly, what regulations and oversight have been put into place? Can’t think of any.
When someone like Musk reiterates this danger as far deeper than individuals building nuclear weapons at home, who is paying attention? As far as I can tell, absolutely no one in any position of authority anywhere (except Musk). And the fact is that AI intelligence is very much based on non linear machine learning (algorithmic), which means appropriate regulation stimulated after harm is caused is a model that simply won’t work.
So I think the best case scenario is doing enough to stop a totalitarian result, but I suspect we cannot prevent an authoritarian one.
