I only got 1 response on my facebook post actually. It ended up being a “what about the mens” response, but not so much a beligerant one. Just my one friend complained that he had no recourse when he was been sexually assaulted by women. I declined to start a facebook debate, as I just didn’t have the energy for that at the moment, but I did say that sexual assault isn’t right no matter the gender of the aggressor.

I might add that the guy in question is normally on the right side of women’s rights, but its taken a long time to get him there (as well as myself). I usually reserve our more philosophical debates to when were are drinking together in person as I can usually get through to him there.
