Ug. I found out that my hometown got down to -53C with windchill this morning. I don’t live too far from there so I imagine it wasn’t much different here. This may be unpleasant, but I agree, at least it isn’t 40C with clouds of insects that choke you when you go outside to try and escape the heat. I’m warm and toasty, and bug free. I do think I’m going to walk to work today though, as I don’t want to stress my car that much.

Even here in BC it was pretty cold and very windy – a dry cold, so if it’s any consolation, there’s no/little snow.
