Hi JZ,
The confusion comes when people decide to define the term ‘woman’ as something other that the factually accurate notion of ‘adult human female’.
Another less plausible and non-evidence based notion is that the term woman = anyone who feels/identifies with being a woman. This redefinition is problematic when it comes to female’s attempts to describe what is happening to them in society.
Because, all of a sudden, females can be shouted down, threatened, and verbally harassed for stating heretical ideas like only females have a vulva/vagina.
Why? As the argument goes ‘not all women have vaginas/vulvas and it is being horribly transmisogynistic for not calling men who identify as women, ‘women’ because their strong feelings should count just the same(?) as demonstrable, factual, biological reality.
So then when females cannot speak of their experience of being female – that is having the body type/physical bits that mark them as the oppressed class of society (see sex based oppression, patriarchy, et cetera); they, and their specific experiences are shouted down/repressed/erased from society.
Many radical feminists, naturally, see this as a problem. Men have been attempting to define what womanhood is, since well forever, and thus reject most of trans-ideological positions when it comes to topics such as gender and identity (as illustrated in the dialog).
Hope that helps JZ. :)

A relevant quote –
““From a radfem perspective, trans theory is extremely offensive in that it enforces gender roles while giving the illusion of choice. It ostensibly tells people that they can be whatever they want, but in practice they use one’s conformity or non-conformity to gender roles to assign them a label of “cis” or “trans.””
Many radial feminists, rightly recognizing that gender is a hierarchical social construct designed to oppress women and should be abolished (A boy that is passive and likes to wear dresses is fine as is and the gender rules that say he is deviant should be done away with), as opposed to the rather conservative stance of current trans-ideology that advocates for enshrining gender (A boy that is passive and likes to wear dresses = must be a male to transgender – thus reinforcing the gender binary).

What are you confused about?
The trans cult? Or why women are annoyed about various aspects eg:
Lesbians being told they are discriminatory for not wanting to have sex with a man who says he’s a woman
Women who don’t want men in changing rooms or toilets
Women who would like to talk about periods, pregnancy, menopause, without being called discriminatory
You maybe didn’t realise there is a female penis. Apparently
Sex and gender: sex = biological sex, ie chromosomes and reproductive capacity, gender = a social construct, ie it’s made up, artificial, for whatever purposes (in this case, as a theory, to subdue women). The trans ideology supports gender and denies biological sex by claiming that men, ie you, can be women, because they feel like it. On Monday. Or Tuesday. Or whatever day.
