I have been following these debates from a sports perspective, focused upon fairness. It seems almost obvious that if a male transitions to being a female, the critical point is whether they have gone through puberty. Anyone going through puberty will get their musculature based upon their birth sex. And since female athletes are forbidden to receive male sex hormones, it follows that a male body dressed in female clothing is not acceptable in athletic competition, no matter how many medical treatments they have received. How anyone wishes to live their life is no concern of mine, except where that overlaps with others.

Again, though(?), it gets back to what exactly is “trans” supposed to represent?:
“Born in the wrong body”? (science fiction nonsense to do with, I suspect, criminal abuse by the parents being hidden)
“Pink Brain” and “Blue Brain”? (backward, post-modern bullsh*t of age-old Puritan socio-economic SEXISM being recycled EVERYONE SHOULD OVERTHROW ALREADY — like we were actually on the path toward doing, it seemed, between the ’70s through the ’90s)
“Sexually Submissive (men)”? (self-hating gays or porn addicts wanting to mainstream a cognitive dissonant sociopathic behavior WITH NO RESPECT FOR OTHERS’ *BOUNDARIES* — because: the notion of equating “getting-off” on ABUSE during sex *is* decidedly a MALE CULTIVATED BELIEF endorsed by PORN)
“Autistic Eugenics”? (because the reckless American educational establishment has formulated this inhuman, bizarre, pass-the-buck institutionalization of dealing with autism by making kids believe their brain is like a “computer program”; repeating patterns/stereotypical traits/etc. — as well as: following all the ugly stuff they have no judgement to know how to avoid on the Internet)
or:
Just a massive, well-financed/well-coordinated “pinkwashing campaign” from all the countries dependent on the U.S. acting like an ethically bankrupt bully determining global “security”? I, actually, believe THIS is a major element to the way this madness is being promoted and the way it served -like almost clockwork- as “retaliation” for #MeToo (even though, in the U.S., it started being over-the-top “advertised” during Obama’s second term; not only from the influence of Pritzker donations and the marketing of “Jazz Jennings” but, obviously, that was when Jenner became a big deal in the media also)
I, for one, have NO intention of accepting lies. 2+2 is NOT “5”. The World is NOT “6000 years’ old”. War is NOT “Peace”. And: Will Thomas is NOT Jenny Thompson! The wisdom I cherish from my mother and grandmother is something I’m armed with against this despicably evil and stupid current moment in history.

Where are all the people born with the wrong arms? We need language to describe how arm identity determines power hierarchy and who gets victimized and what kind of drug therapy we can use to suspend (excuse the reference) forming an incorrect attachment (same) to these wrong arms until the correct arms can be reattached through the miracle of arm identity surgery.
What we cannot do – without being arm bigots and arm haters trying to eradicate arms and denying their right to exist – is question the RELATIONSHIP a brain has with its body and come up with or propose therapy for aligning this relationship. Nope. We need to first stunt their growth to give the person born with the wrong arms time to figure which arms are the right ones. Then we need to promote clinics that specialize in removing the wrong arms and reattaching the right arms in the name of affirmation caring because anyone who disagrees obviously are enforcing limb conversion therapy. And this just hate.
Once the born-with-the-wrong-arms brigade organizes and takes over medical institutions and government and the media, only then will we be able to be on the right side of history and be the warriors of real justice. Everyone else? Right wing (again, apologies for the limb-related term) Trump loving, extreme white supremacist bigots.
There. All fixed.

When 170 million years of evolution can be ignored with mantra of “no debate”, you know you are dealing with people who have completely turned their back on what the natural world actually IS. And its not surprising when most people spend their time in the make-believe world of video games, social media and porn sites. The world is now a made-up place, except that the natural world is basically on fire, and yes, mammals do come in two sexes only.

I see what you did there, southernpov: you went from a statement that’s true (left leaning student student groups don’t sponsor critical thinking exercises) to a belief you hold that’s false (overlords will mandate ‘their’ choices on these left leaning student groups). You think this a legitimate criticism. It’s not. Like most ‘progressive’ believers, you think imposing your beliefs on reality using words will magically alter reality to align with your beliefs! In days past when what’s true actually mattered to most, this would be classified quite accurately as ‘delusional thinking’. You don’t have to keep on doing this, by the way; you can realign your thinking to allow reality to arbitrate your beliefs about it. But then, you might have to go to one of these sponsored events to see how it’s done.
