When talking with many of the gender-religious and their supporters the tendency by them to deploy over the top statements seems to be irresistible. The actual reason why transacativists use hyperbolic language is quite quotidian. They do not have a fact based argument to fall back on. It is ‘just how I feel’ and ‘how dare you hurt my feelings by not believing the exact same as me’ all the way down. Emotional appeals and coercion are the only cards they have to play – they do it well – but people who care about facts and people other than themselves tend to look a the bigger picture.
Dr.Jane Clare Jones is one of those who quickly cuts to the quick of the hyperbole. So were you looking for an answer to the “you’re erasing my existence ploy” – here it be.

The assertion as well as LEGAL PROTECTION of the difference in Sex characteristics between male and female, recognized by the law, cannot be stressed enough. When one pulls away the veneer of the clown show insanity behind this movement, one notices the first two things they ALWAYS double-down on right off the bat: 1. their obsession with the flat-out EUGENICS of “puberty blockers” (LITERALLY: PREVENTING SOMEONE FROM DEVELOPING THE AWARENESS AND DECISION MAKING OF AN *ADULT*); and, 2. the constant attack on any institution which, in the shamefully short time of ONLY a relative 50 years, has been a legally-sanctioned avenue for (young) women to pursue equity in terms of: education, financial mobility, and (up until this year, at least, in the backward dystopic U.S.) bodily autonomy. Without fail. Every. Single. ‘Effing. Time! The misogynistic circus zeroes-in on those things with a religious/cult and almost militarist-like fervor they can’t even hide anymore.
Post-Modern ad agency “science” however, if I for one have something to say about it, IS NOT going to erase 20,000,000 years’ of human biological reality.

And how did they come into existence? Did a mermaid mate with a unicorn? No? Human sexual reproduction? Absolutely.
