The religion stemming from the left has yet to go through it’s reformation and decline. Calling bullshit on demonstratively terrible ideas still comes with a significant potential social cost. :/

As the understanding that today’s social justice movement IS a faith-based religion, my question about where did all the atheists go when we needed them the most after religious belief declined I hope will be recast from being acceptably labelled as ‘sinner’ (alt right) to ‘saint’ (an actual liberal actually concerned about actual social justice).
My criticism to other atheists who should have recognized what’s going on during the institutional capture by the woke but who in fact cheer lead this religious movement today (or sit quietly on the sidelines like good little agnostics) will be exposed as the moral and ethical hypocrites they are in practice.
Tearing down religion belief in woo on the one hand only to elevate a faith-based belief in a social ideology on the other as so many ‘atheists’ champion today – a faith-based belief just as divisive and destructive to human dignity and respect and character as any atrocious religious cult – is deserving of both condemnation and further study about how this could happen. But, of course, the subject itself – self-questioning in the service of trying to determine what is true – is now rejected wholesale by the very institutions and those who populate them that once was dedicated to exploring what’s true. We are left with a society going along with castigating and vilifying and punishing those non believers who dare to question and criticize this faith-based ideology as social justice blasphemers in need of cancellation, ostracism, and eternal social punishment. Far too many atheists are good with this. Shame on them.

Consumer Capitalism (post-Reagan…but, now, especially post-2008: with EVERYTHING micro-*rigged* by unregulated private equity firms running the U.S. house of cards Empire) essentially NEEDS the dumbest and most nihilistically-selfish people to sustain itself.
ANY country, it seems(?), militarily at arms length of America’s State Dept. world view has the exact. same. asinine. culture war playing out. At the end of the day: it goes full circle back to all the .01% subsidized power grifters cashing in on Civilization’s collapse with their demigod sense of self-entitlement. BOYCOTT. BOYCOTT. BOYCOTT. I say. The system CAN’T continue to be such a runaway clown show if people *really resist* and don’t feed it.
