An excellent article here explaining why more girls than boys – and in explosively increasing numbers – are receiving what is euphemistically called gender ‘care’ by the medical community. It has to do with… wait for it…. language! Specifically, the meaning of language really does matter. And gender ideology – like all Critical Theory – is a subject without an object, so language itself becomes the meaning. (Quebec has particularly lax regulations for children to receive medical interventions.)
So why does this understanding the linguistic trickery going on matter so damned much? Because it not just incredibly regressive nonsense for the legal rights and protections in law but attempts to alter reality enough to justify an ongoing and widespread medical experimentation approach carried out on children at their most vulnerable time and whose brains are about 2/3rds developed. (That’s their excuse… I’m not sure what any adult excuse is.) What could possibly go wrong with regulating this approach into policies and practices both in medicine and throughout every public institution? Hmmm.
“From a purely ideological perspective, this redefinition of the terms boy, girl, man, and woman according to sex-related stereotypes and social roles by our institutions is regressive in the extreme, as it repudiates decades of work by women’s rights activists who fought assiduously to decouple notions of womanhood and manhood from rigid stereotypes and social roles.
But from the perspective of material impact, this overt medicalization of gender nonconformity is nothing short of a medical scandal of truly epic proportions.”
