Maybe not?
It is nice to see a little sanctimony coming from the other side of the political spectrum once and awhile. Bill Maher fills that role admirably.
What is colon hydrotherapy, you ask? It’s an enormous enema. A Dieticians of Canada publication describes it as follows:
Colonic cleansing or irrigation, touted as a treatment for cleansing the colon, involves the insertion of a rubber tube through the rectum into the large intestine. A continuous forced flow of up to 20 gallons of warm water eventually causes the body to expel the contents of the colon with the water. Colonic cleansing has been legally approved by Health Canada for use before radiologic endoscopic examination. Various peer-reviewed scientific studies were also found exploring pre-operative colonic cleansing as a means to prepare patients for a medical examination of the colon. A meta analysis investigating the efficacy of such treatment, for other than medically necessary purposes, concluded that there are no benefits derived from mechanical bowel cleansing; on the contrary, such a treatment may lead to further complications. Medical doctors do not recommend colon cleansing unless it is performed by a physician in preparation for a medical examination of the colon.

Nothing like a fair heaping of ridicule for the GOP to start the day off right.
It is with heavy heart that I must share this most disturbing news. Due to the extraordinary mild winter in Canada this year, the supply of one of the very touchstones of our Canadian culture is in jeopardy. Yes friends, the harvest of Maple Syrup is down a whopping 20 to 50%, depending on the region.
“Ontario’s maple syrup producers are producing anywhere from 20 per cent to 50 per cent of what they normally make, according to Ray Bonenberg, president of the Ontario Maple Syrup Producers Association. He tells the Canadian press that all of the country’s major maple syrup producing provinces, which include Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, have been affected by a lack of cold weather in 2012. This means that the harvest season was significantly shorter this year, resulting in a smaller output than what can usually be depended upon.”
Now is time to stock up before the masses realize their folly and the full horror of the naked pancake breakfast becomes a reality.
Voting republican? Well the rich need their defenders too, sheesh.
I enjoy breaking my computer on a fairly regular basis. I install something, or upgrade or some variation of the two and then the stuff hits the fan. No biggie, backtrack mess with things and everything is good once again. Printing documents though is different. Printing is High Stakes, High Risk, No Safety rope material. When I see a print error I cringe, all the hope drains from my world. No amount of cancelling a document or deleting it will fix things. With zombie like tenacity the borked print job just petulantly stares back at me. I’ve considered what is going on, but now its confirmed:
