This from X user America 2100. This post describes the hollowing out of support for the rights and liberties that the LGB movement fought so hard to obtain. Support for gay marriage in America is trending downward.
One of the major reasons for this decline is that the LGB movement has been parasitized by the TQ+ activists who are trying to destabilize society rather than integrate into it. TQ+ activism requires a constant stream of people that are at odds with all the norms in society, who see the normative values as oppressive and structures that must be burnt to the ground. In other words, a revolution, and in the new society that rises from the ashes with themselves at its centre.
These activists do not know history. If they did they would see that every revolutionary vanguard is mercilessly destroyed once the society is burnt down and reforming. The powers that be have no need for radical activists whose only goal is to destabilize society. See what happened to the Red Guard after the revolution in China as proof of this assertion.
Support those who want to integrate into the current society – the one that guarantees personal liberty, freedom of thought and speech, and private property. Fight to maintain our democratic principles and effect incremental positive change within the society. Because the oppression that will be visited upon all of us by revolutionary regime will be magnitudes greater than what is being experienced now. Count on it.
“🏳️🌈”Pride Month” begins tomorrow. But here’s what they won’t tell you: The LGBT movement is losing—badly.
Let’s look at some of the polls.
Just a few years ago, it seemed like the LGBT revolution had won, once and for all. By 2020, even a majority of Republicans supported gay marriage.
But the Left overplayed their hand. What began as a backlash to gender ideology and the indoctrination of kids is now turning Americans against the entire LGBT project, including gay marriage—something that would have been unthinkable just five years ago.
Rather than continuing to climb, American support for gay marriage has dropped 7 points in just one year (from 2022 to 2023).
Republican support for gay marriage dropped 15 points over the same period. In 2022, 56% of Republicans supported gay marriage. By 2023, that number had fallen to 41%—the lowest it’s been in a decade.
Even amongst Democrats, support for gay marriage dropped 6 points from 2022 to 2023. (Source: Gallup)
Among young people, too—the most liberal and LGBT-friendly demographic—support for gay marriage is going down, not up. From 2018 to 2024, support for gay marriage among 18-29 year olds dropped by 8 points.
That decline appears to be overwhelmingly driven by Generation Z. From 2021 to 2023, Gen Z’s support for gay marriage dropped by a full 11 points. (Source: PRRI)
This wasn’t supposed to happen. “History” was only supposed to move in one direction—and gay marriage was supposed to be a “settled issue.”
The majority of Americans still support gay marriage. But the trend lines should serve as a bright-red warning sign for the Left. If they’re losing ground on this issue, they’re in big, big trouble.”
If you ask someone why they support homeopathy, they will give you reasons. Maybe that it worked for a friend of a friend, or perhaps their naturalpath gives them a warm fuzzy feeling that they just don’t get from real doctors. Whatever it might be, they will give you a reason.
If you ask someone why they want to legislate against abortions, they will give you reasons. Maybe they think blastocysts are people, or perhaps that a woman’s right to rule her own body goes on hiatus during pregnancy. Again, they have reasons.
If you ask someone why they want anti-blasphemy laws, they will give you reasons. Maybe they think that the whole purpose of humankind is to revere a deity, or perhaps they’re worried about a wrathful god smiting indiscriminately if it gets too pissed off. They have reasons too.
All those positions have reasons behind them. Sure, they are all horrible reasons, but at least the reasons are there.
If you ask someone why they oppose gay marriage, however, no reasons are ever provided. At most, they insinuate that they have a reason, but they never actually say what that reason is. It’s a very irritating thing to deal with. In the other cases mentioned, a well thought out response can show why all those reasons are terrible and should be discarded. There is something to work with. However, opponents to gay marriage don’t provide anything to refute. The position is worse than wrong. It provides nothing other than nonsensical, incoherent, non-arguments. Read the rest of this entry »
Easy pickings today as the comic book genre is not exactly a bastion of feminism. That being said, it just behooves me not to share the head slapping stupidity of the people who designed an open contest to see if they have “the chops” to join the DC team. Let’s just let the vile bags of douche speak for themselves:
Harley Quinn. One page. Published work. Breaking into comics was never this fun. ;)

Read the following script page and give us your original artistic interpretation of what those four panels should look like on a single page:
PAGE 15
4 panels
PANEL 1
Harley is on top of a building, holding a large DETACHED cellphone tower in her hands as lightning is striking just about everywhere except her tower. She is looking at us like she cannot believe what she is doing. Beside herself. Not happy.PANEL 2
Harley is sitting in an alligator pond, on a little island with a suit of raw chicken on, rolling her eyes like once again, she cannot believe where she has found herself. We see the alligators ignoring her.PANEL 3
Harley is sitting in an open whale mouth, tickling the inside of the whale’s mouth with a feather. She is ecstatic and happy, like this is the most fun ever.PANEL 4
Harley sitting naked in a bathtub with toasters, blow dryers, blenders, appliances all dangling above the bathtub and she has a cord that will release them all. We are watching the moment before the inevitable death. Her expression is one of “oh well, guess that’s it for me” and she has resigned herself to the moment that is going to happen.
Ah. Naked-happy with suicide is a okay – Let’s pause a second and set our phasers to “juxtaposition” and take a look at this snippet from the Atlantic Wire.
“Batwoman may be a superhero, but her powers apparently don’t extend to being able to marry someone of the same sex. The heroine, a Jewish lesbian, was denied a same-sex marriage by the execs of DC Comics, leading to a resignation of two Batwoman authors.
“We’re both heartbroken over leaving, but we feel strongly that you all deserve stories that push the character and the series forward. We can’t reliably do our best work if our plans are scrapped at the last minute, so we’re stepping aside,” wrote Batwoman co-authors J.H. Williams and W. Haden Blackman on their website late Wednesday night, explaining that DC Comics had squashed many of their editorial choices and “most crushingly, prohibited from ever showing Kate [Batwoman] and Maggie actually getting married.”
In addition, Williams tweeted:
@andykhouri Not wanting to be inflammatory, only factual- We fought to get them engaged, but were told emphatically no marriage can result.
— J.H. Williams III (@JHWilliamsIII) September 5, 2013″
Okay, so to summarize.
But this, is not.
Yah. So the abhorrent usual of objectification, degradation and violence against women is green lighted with an open invite for artists to “join the team” no less.
But…
A same sex marriage? Obviously completely off the fucking chain and gets shut down by DC in a heartbeat.
A double of patriarchal bullshite, with a heaping side of misogyny seems to be DC’s answer to the problem of rape culture in society, because pushing against toxic societal norms an artistic medium is hard.
Extra bonus fail for DC – September is Suicide Prevention month…
