One of my favourite youtubers is theramin trees, his videos are always coolly narrated and punctuated with slick visual animations that always manage to highlight how incredibly toxic religion is. He recalls how his questions got him in trouble… and the terror of growing up as curious child. So many alarm bells with this video – the stunting of critical thinking, the mental abuse and the emotional blackmail all in the name of believing in magic.

Bleatmop here. I’ve recently been asked by Arb to fisk an article that I guess needed fisking. Since I haven’t contributed here in a while I didn’t want to pass this opportunity up. Unfortunately fisking isn’t really my style. Therefore I thought I would respond to the blog in my own way.
The blog in question is here. It’s rather, umm, well… it’s something else. And I don’t mean that in a good way. It’s an article about why women should submit to men and some general ideas of how it should and should not be done. Since it’s not really worth reading I’ll do a too long; didn’t read here (TL;DR) for you. Enjoy!

Don’t worry though! She makes sure to add a few lines about men not grinding their women (because under this lifestyle paradigm women are most definitely treated like property) under that boot too hard. How very thoughtful of her!
