I liked the video. It talks about being open-minded through the examples of Paranormal & Super-natural things. But, I really didn’t understand what the video is trying to convey?

The video can be thought of as conveying the idea that openmindedness paired with critical thinking is a good thing.
Simply, being open to or accepting a wide variety of ideas is not the same as evaluating new concepts and accepting them or rejecting as ideas based on verifiable fact.
One needs to be able to, as the video suggests, have some some sort of analytical filter in place to winnow out the idea that are false.
