I’m curious as to the lack of story around the little issue of our own government not following the rules of Canadian Democracy. I guess Steve was not happy with just shutting parliament down, but he wanted his way with how our democracy is run.

I honestly think the reason why is apathy. Contempt of parliament is something that isn’t directly and personally affecting many Canadians. Sad, but true imo.

I think it should though…I mean we have government that is already playing loose with facts and does not want to get informed opinion about issues that will effect all Canadians.
How bad does it have to get before more of the population wakes up and sees how out of touch and ideologically based conservative policy is cocking-up their lives?

I agree that it should be an issue 100% Hell, when their handbook for how to disrupt parliament got out, I would have thought people would have woken up. I really don’t know why this isn’t an issue with most people. I also have to wonder if people even believe me when I bring these issue up with them. Could denial be part of the problem?
