The problem with making a reasonable argument is that it takes time and patience to construct properly. Nonstampcollector makes a great video showing exactly how unonbjective the christian god actually is. Guaranteed to make the religious cringe as they face contradiction after contradiction, and precisely why the video appears on this blog.

NonStampCollector’s videos are awesome, sometimes just plain hilarious. I personally have found it’s a lot easier to be moral when you aren’t torturing logic trying to understand biblical morality. While there may not be a specific consolidated text that covers morality today, outside of perhaps textbook references, simply because it isn’t transcribed into a cumulative text doesn’t make our morality baseless. I learned morality in school and at home from my parents, teachers, and from history. History is by far the greatest teacher of morality, far greater than any holy text, and far more tested, scrutinized, and evaluated than biblical morality. Throwing out the bible as my moral guide, doesn’t require that I relinquish morality from the other source which I know are tested and supported by evidence, not by the arbitrary morality of the person interpreting scripture to me. That is quite a regular argument made by Christians who don’t even realize most of their morality isn’t from the bible.
