But hey, at least he close GTMO, brought in universal health care, had unqualified support for gays in the military and gays marriage, reformed banking laws, stopped dangerous deep sea offshore oil drilling, beefed up environmental protections… Oh wait, he’s done the opposite of all those. But hey, at least he not Dubbleya and doesn’t wear magic underwear? And he mentioned those of no faith while continuing to allow religious encroachment into the political sphere without so much as a word against it…

However, his Supreme Court nominees have not been nearly as bad as his other actions. With this in mind, perhaps you’d might was well vote for Obama to prevent reactionaries that will roll back abortion, gay rights, etc, from getting onto SCOTUS.

I hear ya Bleat, its not something I’m all happy about but until the US gets its political system into a state that can represent the people, we can look forward to more Presidents that sound progressive than actually are not, like Obama. he has to dance what brought him to the ball and unfortunately that is the corporate elite.
