It must be the holiday season as it seems that I’ve given the gift of knowledge to an intrepid crusader of the Manosphere. Slow days at work means I can spend time feeding my SIWOTI compulsion. This is Red Pen of Justice material, but in a different format as instead of interspersing my commentary into the body of the original work, I’ll post my analysis of the dudes arguments as they would appear in his comment section if he decided to publish it. Brace yourself folks, the “wisdom” flows hard and fast in this dude’s sage observations of all hardships faced by the menz. I’ll put it under the fold since it is a mighty wall of text.
“Early to see a film, I stopped at a nearby restaurant. I sprawled into a chair meant for a smaller person. At a nearby table, comfortably sat into their chairs, were four girls and two women. Mothers, taking their daughters out for a shopping trip.
The sight brought back memories, my mother and aunts were ever taking the girls of my family out for shopping trips, manicures, hair appointments and such things. When I was a boy, I never wanted to go with them. It seemed like a waste of time, I’d rather stay at home and play or read or watch TV. Now though, watching this family, I couldn’t help but be curious. What was it like for these girls? What went on where only matched chromosomes would go?
Plutarch, the Greek Historian, records for us a conversation between two ancient Greek women – an Athenian and a Spartan. The Athenian asks the Spartan woman – “Why is it that Spartan men are the only men who will listen to women?” The Spartan answers, in the laconic way, saying “Spartan women are the only ones who give birth to men.”
Do American women give birth to men?
A baby horse will walk, minutes after birth. Humans aren’t like that, we have to be taught. As an SMBC strip has it, “You had to be taught not to shit yourself. And it took YEARS”. If you don’t know how to walk, or how to be clean, how can you be expected to know how to be a man? You are born male, with a genetic disposition for strength, logic and creativity. And yet, you cannot fulfil your destiny without learning to be a man, any more than you could run a marathon without first figuring out how to walk. The question is, how will you learn?
My father was busy at work. My uncles were busy at work. My sisters and girl-cousins were out with my aunts and mother learning to be women. There was a group of boys at home, but who was to teach us how to be men? Tyler Durden from Fight Club aptly comments “We are a generation of men raised by women” and this is a source of discord.
Isolation from male role models extends beyond the nuclear family unit though. When you go to school, who will teach you? Early educators are overwhelmingly women – 78% of public educators are women. A consequence of the feminization of early education is a ridiculous trend towards maternalistic overprotection. Zero tolerance policies proliferate across the elementary school landscape, children are being suspended, expelled or arrested for such minor misdeeds as chewing food into the shape of a gun.
And who, you may ask, is predominantly the victim of such misguided policies? What kind of children are likeliest to be rough housing or playing with toy guns? Of course, the answer is boys. Boys are over four times as likely to be punished (search this for “Gender” to find the relevant study) – and this is from a study in the 90s. The odds have certainly gone up since then.
Is this any wonder though? Boys are being raised by women and taught by women in schools run by women and purpose built to teach girls. A foreseeable consequence of this is the marginalization of boys in the educational establishment. Women are earning 57-60% of bachelors and masters degrees. Does anyone think it might be related to the systematic marginalization of boys in the education system? Women are proving to be as effective at teaching girls as they are inept at teaching boys.
Mention this fact to a feminist and you’ll likely see her jump to complain about the apocryphal gender pay gap that was gone a decade ago (this isn’t so easy to give with a single source, I’ll explain further in a later blog). Feminists never seem to consider how their campaign for improving the lives of girls can come at a cost – the lives of boys.
Schools hurt boys in more ways than just arbitrarily punishing them and failing to educate them though. Our schools are also determined to drug young men, for dubious reasons and at uninvestigated cost. Boys are three times as likely to be “diagnosed” with ADHD and medicated with chemicals that control, alter and likely deteriorate their mental state. This is especially egregious since ADHD is a recent, invented phenomenon that is characterized by the inability of the teacher to control the student.
Society is doing a ruinous disservice to itself and to boys. Boys aren’t taught to be men, they are aren’t taught in public education – they are punished and drugged. And while this travesty continues the shrieking feminist harpies are crying about phantom ills befalling women – how cruel that society like to glorify attractive women! Never mind that plight of boys, never mind the listless anomie suffusing a nascent generation of men, never mind that men are likelier to be the victims of violence or murder, that men are likelier to be convicted and face harsher punishments for the same crimes when convicted. Never mind that men are likelier to die on the job or that they may be enslaved by the government at times of war. Feminists have things they want to complain about, so shut up about all that stuff so we can hear how oppressed they are.
It is my aim, with this blog, to draw out the deceit of mainstream feminism and to confront the challenges that men and boys are facing. Perhaps you are concerned that I’m drawing a false dilemma. Can’t people be concerned with the advocacy of both boys and girls?
Sure, it is possible and right to be. All humans require equivalent moral worth, anything less is downright evil. I’m not opposed to equality of genders, quite the contrary, I demand it! What I see with modern feminism though, is that it has abandoned the struggle for gender equality in favor of pernicious, attention seeking displays. This is what I’m opposed to and hope to call out here.

My effort here is founded upon facts and credible research from well regarded sources
Is it? Because it looks to me like you mention sources that do not support or even mention what you’re saying.
For instance:
Early educators are overwhelmingly women – 78% of public educators are women.
This is fact.
A consequence of the feminization of early education is a ridiculous trend towards maternalistic overprotection.
Nothing from the previous citation has anything to do with this assertion. First prove that a trend exists (citation required), define what “maternal overprotection is” (citation required) and demonstrate a link (citation required) between the two ideas you are attempting to link together.
Otherwise the above statement is mere opinion.
Zero tolerance policies proliferate across the elementary school landscape, children are being suspended, expelled or arrested for such minor misdeeds as chewing food into the shape of a gun.
Specific mention of an incident? Link to the story. There is a fair amount of literature on Zero Tolerance Policies some of it might support some of what you say. But mentioning a few outliers and pointing to them as the “norm” is not helping the seriousness of your argumentation.
Boys are over four times as likely to be punished (search this for “Gender” to find the relevant study)
You are quoting a study that is analyzing the effect of ethnicity on school discipline. It does cover the gender of those being sent to the office, it also offers several hypotheses as to why this is, the most relevant being the socioeconomic status of the student in question. This is a serious confound to the assertions you make based on the data in the report.
In the conclusion of the report the author says:
“This investigation explored a number of alternatives to bias as an explanation for gender, race, and socioeconomic disproportionality and found that none were capable of accounting for large and consistent disparities in the discipline of black and white students. To the extent that these alternative hypothesis can be ruled out, it becomes more likely that highly
consistent statistical discrepancies in school punishment for black and white students are an indicator of systematic and prevalent bias in the practice of school discipline.”
First, the report is about ethnicity. Second, the researcher is not specifically addressing the question of gender. Thirdly, the gender hypothesis was ruled out as a possible reason for disparities being tested. Fourthly the empirical evidence in the field rules out the idea that boys and girls achieve and learn differently due to some innate biological difference.
“The empirical evidence suggests that gender differences may be small (Eccles, 1992) and that both teachers and students contribute to these differences (Altermatt et al., 1998)”
Boys are being raised by women and taught by women in schools run by women and purpose built to teach girls.
As evinced by what? How, exactly, are schools “purpose built” to teach girls? You need to show the methodology and link to the relevant sources that, by your assertion should be in the school curriculum – a study on this to prove the the validity of your assertion would be nice too.
A foreseeable consequence of this is the marginalization of boys in the educational establishment.
How? You can’t even go here without evidence of the the first assertion, yet you do anyways. A faulty premise always leads to a faulty conclusion, and it has been established that every premise put forward so far is unsubstantiated opinion.
Women are earning 57-60% of bachelors and masters degrees. Does anyone think it might be related to the systematic marginalization of boys in the education system?
Apparently only you. Research shows that men need to apply themselves to their studies and thus improve their outcomes.
Women are proving to be as effective at teaching girls as they are inept at teaching boys.
Based on what? Citation needed showing the relationship between female teachers teaching females well and males poorly. What the research says is that it is the teachers expectations of performance which dictate student outcomes. I’ll quote that for you.
“How much of the differences that teachers perceived between boys and girls can be explained by a reliance on sex stereotypes? To answer this question, we compared the correlations between student sex and teacher perceptions of performance, talent, and effort from the stereotype content analyses to the regression coefficients relating student sex and teacher perceptions of performance, talent, and effort from the stereotype process analyses. This comparison indicated that the differences that teachers perceived between girls’ and boys’ performance (r=7 = -.10) is almost completely accounted for by the regression coefficient relating student sex to teacher perceptions of performance ( ( = -.09) . Similarly, almost all of the differences that teachers perceived between girls’ and boys’ effort (r967 = -.21) is accounted for by the regression coefficient relating student sex and teacher perceptions of effort (p = -.19). Thus, virtually all of the perceived differences are explained by a reliance on sex stereotypes.”

the apocryphal gender pay gap that was gone a decade ago
Wow, just pulling facts out of your ass now. The gender pay gap exists, and is a easily proven fact. Source 1, Source 2, Source 3.
Feminists never seem to consider how their campaign for improving the lives of girls can come at a cost – the lives of boys.
Do tell how women getting equal pay for equal work is costing the lives of boys. Preferably with in non hyperbolic language backed up with studies illustrating the relationship you say exists.
Schools hurt boys in more ways than just arbitrarily punishing them and failing to educate them though.
Citation *still* needed.
Our schools are also determined to drug young men, for dubious reasons and at uninvestigated cost.
Do provide evidence that in *any* school charter they are “determined” to drug young men.
“diagnosed” with ADHD and medicated with chemicals that control, alter and likely deteriorate their mental state.
As said by whom? Or are you are a practicing physician that is aware of the effects of hyperactivity medication on children? Do you even know which meds that tend to be prescribed and their side effects?
Citation needed.
ADHD is a recent, invented phenomenon that is characterized by the inability of the teacher to control the student.
Or, characterized in the DSM-V. Diagnosable, Symptomatic, Treatable.
You should not just say things and then assume that people won’t call you on your inaccuracy.
And while this travesty continues the shrieking feminist harpies are crying about phantom ills befalling women – how cruel that society like to glorify attractive women!
Speaking of things you know nothing about. The objectification of women in our culture is a serious issue.
never mind that men are likelier to be the victims of violence or murder,
Perpetrated by men.
that men are likelier to be convicted and face harsher punishments for the same crimes when convicted.
True in some cases but not all.
Feminists have things they want to complain about, so shut up about all that stuff so we can hear how oppressed they are.
If, given the time, you can find out what actually feminists are concerned about, as opposed to what the abuser lobby, aka MRA’s think of feminism.
It is my aim, with this blog, to draw out the deceit of mainstream feminism and to confront the challenges that men and boys are facing
As of the writing of this article, challenge failed.
Perhaps you are concerned that I’m drawing a false dilemma.
A false dilemma is a informal fallacy, we’re not even close to being there yet. As evinced so far, you have done nothing more than an exercise in inaccurate hyperbole. Confabulating facts based on entirely on your bias as opposed to reality is the grand sum of your heroic undertaking.
What I see with modern feminism though, is that it has abandoned the struggle for gender equality in favor of pernicious, attention seeking displays.
Projection much?
Can’t people be concerned with the advocacy of both boys and girls?
If the assertions are based in reality, the answer is yes.
This is what I’m opposed to and hope to call out here.
Tell me again how my original comment was inaccurate.
-(Original comment:Wow, another dude preparing to get all screedy and hysterical over feminism. How original.)
