While I agree with the sentiment of the post, I’m quite certain the LPC were doing similar levels of accountability on their way out. It’s part of the reason why I initially supported the CPC, because they kept talking about accountability. The sponsorship scandal and the LPC’s complete denial of any wrongdoing is on this level of corruption. To date the LPC has never apologized. In fact all they have ever commented on it is basically saying “WORTH”. I think this level or corruption in institutionalized in our two ruling parties and that this is why Canadians are considering giving someone new a chance.
