Dr. Jane Clare Jones on Why “Cis” is Regressive Misogynistic Bullshit.

This madness, literally, is as-if the 21st century West decided to reincarnate Lysenko (now) as a corporate America lobbyist….and: ordered him like some cult guru to go “spread The Word” (at philosophical gunpoint for the credit debt gentrified pilgrims to consume) about, how we’re all supposedly here because there really must be a stork club up in the sky run-by Billy Graham(!); where, he plays a game of “eeny-meeny-miney-moe” when deciding to pick whether we get a pink or blue blankie each time after nine months are up in the Land of Oz and we magically appear in a cradle atop a tree!

If the sheer stupidity of unthinking people (often those with the same audacity to constantly be lecturing us about “science” like it’s a tv commercial) WASN’T INSULTING *ENOUGH* to, somehow?, believe human beings exist due-to a sort-of secret “magic formula”….WHAT REALLY IS THE WORST (and: physically sickening part of this assault on fundamental reality itself) is, that: (here in the U.S.) there is such a kind-of, what I can only call, a “schizoid blindness” in American society ESPECIALLY regarding said-society’s attitude toward women (and: the recent SCOTUS insanity has only proven the old fraternity *still* remains in full force as bad as their grandfathers were); where, there is this thoroughly repulsive duality of….everybody (in charge) walking around carrying such a collective, chest-pounding hubris as well as an [immature] sense-of entitlement; while, strangely, concurrent with it: NOBODY (on, at least, a far bigger scale to further support the great work Kara Dansky and Nancy Hogshead-Makar have been doing) COLLECTIVELY ORGANIZES AN ALL-OUT PUSHBACK against what the implications of this c*ap being instituted mean for 51% of the population (which yes, because my parents decided to have a child 47 years’-ago my amazing Mom brought into this world the way I happen to physically live on this planet, I *DO* have a right to an opinion about how it affects: me; my mother; my aunts; my teenage cousins; my nextdoor neighbors; my coffee-break and pilates’ class sisters, you name it).

Sorry for the rant(!). Dr. Jones, and JKR, are absolute queens speaking truth-to-power. Unfortunately, Margret Atwood seems to have fallen into “The Twilight Zone” and: A Handmaid’s Tale has been turned into an instruction manual for how-to run a self-righteous porn-addled free market parallel universe and get away with it(!).
