Hey howdy Ladies and Gentlemen!
Last weekend, my laptop decided it would take some theatre improv classes and began it’s stage life impersonating an unresponsive electronic brick. I did research as to how to inspire bricked laptops – as it turns out – sometimes the problem is that the battery has managed to quietly commit seppuku. The distress caused by the battery’s poor choices makes laptops so sad that often commiserate the sorrowful situtation by also ceasing to function.
Old battery removed, laptop works great while plugged in. New battery on the way.
TL;DR – We’re back in business here at DWR and apologies for the absence.
Greetings folks,
Insulation upgrades at homebase have thrown my routines and house into chaos.
Rest assured, I will be getting things sorted as soon as possible so DWR can get back on track.
Thanks,

The Arbourist
Hey folks, that you for showing up and engaging with Mystro and his series on anti-natalism. A mini-vacation from the regular duties around here for me was a nice little gift as the holiday season (read choral season) begins in earnest leaving little spare time or thought-cycles for the blogosphere.
Of course, a big thanks to Mystro for writing and hosting the blog this week. :)
Regular programming shall resume now, as Mystro has other topics that demand his attention but I’m very sure he will be happy to continue any of the threads already started this week. :)
To properly bring in the holiday season –

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
About 55,000 tourists visit Liechtenstein every year. This blog was viewed about 220,000 times in 2012. If it were Liechtenstein, it would take about 4 years for that many people to see it. Your blog had more visits than a small country in Europe!
You betcha ladies and gentlemen. 500,000 hits to the blog as of a couple of days ago. Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to share with us here at DWR.
