The Arbourist,
What a load of Socialist Crap. So, what is the alternative organization to the Corporation ? Corporations are large assemblies of people and money organized to accomplish complex tasks . What is the alternative model for the goods and services Corporations provide ?

What a load of Socialist Crap.
There is much room for improvement with regards to the behaviour and ethical standing of corporations.
The film, illuminates some of the weak points of the current corporate culture and makes suggestions on what could be done better.
From the level of analysis put forth Mr.Scott, it looks like as if you responded with knee-jerk ideological reaction. I would suggest that any media that provides such a strong stimulus for provoking such a defensive reaction might be good viewing as it might be challenging some of your base assumptions on how the world works.

I looked at the abstract, and it looks interesting. I’ll delve further when time permits.

The Arbourist,
I’ve said this before, Corporations are neither good or evil, merely as entities. They are a form of organizing large groups of people. The people within the Corporations determine their substance .
Also Corporations tend to be at war with other Corporations. You love to lump them altogether. Big Government Bureaucracies are no more moral and they are what will replace the Corporation in your World. They are certainly more inefficient.

We’re talking about a minute fraction of corporations out there that are actually “bad”, and even they wouldn’t have the abuse-of-power issues they have if governments weren’t so quick to protect them.
Governments are elected by the people, yet once again the people can’t accept any responsibility for this and instead choose to vilify the corporations instead of their own ignorance and apathy.
Guess we’ll just keep on blaming the corporations for being all “corporationey” and go about our blissful lives.
