They Olympics are just getting easier and easier to completely ignore. It’s even easier since I stopped caring about hockey.

Ms.Bowers does a lovely job in skewering the chicanery that is going on in Russia :) I just wish her talents were not needed.

Not caring about hockey? But but but… what about the battle of Alberta, and gold medals and hockey hoopla?!?!?
I’m thinking they would change venues if the Olympics were actually about cooperation, peace and harmony.

Hockey got old for me when I could no longer afford to go to a game in Calgary once they started winning after 04. They are charging for nosebleed seats for what they used to charge for front row. I don’t like watching amateur hockey and that basically leaves me with nothing. Funny thing is though, after a couple years away from it, I don’t miss it at all. It used to be such a big part of my life and now I just can’t seem to care.
Although I think I am preaching to the choir here. Literally and figuratively that is :p

To a certain extend you are, at least for me. I’ll go when given the opportunity, but without free tickets or some other deal to make it reasonable, it just isn’t worth it. I’d rather see a football game, but that has not happened for a couple of years either. Damn sports just don’t do it for me any more. :/
