- If misogyny was only just “hatred of the feminine” a supposedly mystic state of being rather than oppressive norms, women could opt out at any time by simply not conforming. This is so clearly and painfully untrue almost as if… Sex-based oppression exists
^^^👌
1a. When I choose not to perform femininity out in public, the world still knows I am female. Men know what my body looks like no matter how I try to conceal and disguise it. They know my sex, my sex is female, and no matter how I identify or present myself, I will be harassed, solicited for sex, at risk of assault, and oppressed in public because I am female. This is sex-based oppression. The world doesn’t care how I identify. I have a body and my body is female and nothing I can do will stop it from happening, even if you deny sex-based oppression just please know that it is currently happening to me and it will keep happening to me regardless of how this might interfere with your political belief that sex and gender can be wholly divorced from one another (they *should be* does not mean they are).

Recognizing that males in general retain a sexually immature, unnatural sexual desire for females of their species throughout most of their lives, we need to ask two questions: “why is that?” and “How can this problem be resolved meaningfully?” If the “Why” question isn’t asked, and a source identified, nothing can ever change. The male, saddled with his body’s ever-un-sated sexual hunger will continue to look upon the female as a source of relief for his hunger. There is nothing she can do about that and the only he can do about it is practice self-discipline and abstinence – good luck with that.
The same problem exists regarding race. A “black” person in a predominantly “white” neighbourhood cannot opt out of being “black” and just blend in. Again, the “Why racism?” question needs to be tackled and the problem needs to be sourced, to be understood.
No amount of political correctness; no number of the best of laws and the best of police, judges and juries to enforce, adjudicate and uphold those laws can ever change the leopard’s spots. We need to find out exactly why the leopard has those spots in order to empower ourselves to recognize a leopard with spots as well as one without and know they are the same:leopards.
The problem goes back to the inception of civilization as it is called. Without civilization, those “pagans” knew how to deal with sexual drive without the need to oppress or demean either the male or female gender. Each served its proper purpose within the group. Civilizations grew from wars of conquest and subsequent empires. Armies of men were paid in spoils of war. Women and children made wonderful spoils as slaves with various uses. Take it from there. Connect the dots. Know why to this (civilized) day women are seen as “Ghanimas. By the same token, wars of conquest were often fought against less organized, less armed peoples and often they were of a different race, recognizable by skin colour. Is that how racism evolved?
Or is there something much more insidious involved here than mere evolutionary development?

I agree. Women can not opt-out of oppression.

[quote: Women cannot opt out of oppression.] A terrible statement, worse because it is completely true. Women fight oppression in a certain time and place, and it only resurfaces somewhere/somewhen else. We (mankind) need to face the cause of this problem and solve it as of paramount importance, more important than solving “climate change” or endless wars. When a man, born of a woman, turns against a woman of his species, the species is de facto a complete failure. Any other accomplishment from that species is irrelevant: it gets a “fail” mark.
