That looks suspiciously like a C trumpet but the camera work doesn’t ever give us a clean shot of it. But this chart demands great tone both high and low and I’m a fan of bright upper register stuff for classical, which she pulls off beautifully. Starting dead center and playing a high note quietly – not simply high and loud – with good tone and clean articulation is the sign of a really, really good trumpet player. She does this at pp on a high Bb. When you feel this above the staff to high C is part of your intermediate range with all the same technical stuff available at the lower range, then you have arrived into the fold of a being a trumpet player worthy of the name.
