“Rugby Canada CEO Allen Vansen stated, “Our trans inclusion policy was written and developed by Sport, Law & Strategy Group, and is aligned with the guidance document ‘Creating Inclusive Environments for Trans Participants in Canadian Sport.’ Participation in community rugby in Canada is encouraged based on the gender in which a participant identifies and is not to be subjected to requirements for disclosure of personal information beyond those required of cisgender athletes.”
Physical reality does not magically melt away because we wish it so. Men cannot ever be women and the very notion that ‘woman’ is an idea inside a man’s head is completely sexist and offensive.
This policy against female safety and the sex segregation of support is completely out of touch with reality and needs to be fixed ASAP.

As if this reality-denying ideology weren’t bad enough when it comes to women’s sports, it’s far, far worse than that. The acceptance of identity over reality plays out throughout biology across all species that have this binary aspect of sex, in that necessary and truthful information about the role of sex-based differences in physiology is now taboo. Even research journals like Nature have editorial boards that make ideological decisions contrary to the scientific research being presented within. The ideology directly undermines researching and reporting on wherever these differences matter in real life, such as incorporating very real differences in medication and efficacy, in reproductive healthcare. One quick example is the latest Nature that reports very real biological differences between the male rate and female rate within the human population who develop complications from Covid-19. These significant differences in rates are revealing aspects of the virus that help direct research. By rejecting this physiological reality in the name of promoting gender equity means all of us suffer the reality-denying effects in seeking new knowledge. Why people think biology stops at the neck for all binary sex creatures and self-proclaimed gender identity then takes over is an obvious failure to think rationally or accept reality’s arbitration and very definitive refutation of this claim. To then continue to believe in spite of reality is the very definition of denialism in the name of a dysfunctional and dishonest ideology. Why people choose ideology over reality is also revealing: it demonstrates the toxicity and brutality inherent in the ideology to force compliance from people who know better. This is why transactivism is deplorable for its bullying of people into submission not because it’s right or moral or honest or ethical or respectful but because it has none of these virtues.
