Quite true: and the proof is in the pudding. What has any post modern ideology when implemented done except divide people and make societal destruction the highest virtue? Post modernism birthed Critical theory which, in turn, birthed today’s social justice ideologies and these in total have built absolutely nothing but destroyed everything it pollutes, not least of which is language. The central core of post modernism – belief that groups are real and in a hierarchy of power dynamics – is the toxic rot we see flourish in any society that embraces it.
The very first way to defend the liberal experiment from the allure and seduction of post modernism in all its deplorable disguises is to refuse to use its language and do not lie.

Yes. It began in the arts as a challenge to the idea of finding value and meaning in human experience following two world wars (you could call it a collective grief response). Then it borrowed some philosophical ideas from hermeneutics, transplanted them out of context into a wider social critique, et voilà — a largely unintelligible new “critical theory” is born.
One obvious problem: it’s so recursive that it denies the ability (or need) of articulating and advancing human values. Indeed it creates nothing, advances nothing, contributes nothing (except self-referential discourse). And it’s way overdue for getting the boot to the curb — except so many academics have built their careers and prestige on it that they’re squeezing every last dollar out of it before it goes.
