Myers: Does this particularly affect young boys and girls who would normally grow up to be gay?
Joyce: Of course it does. How are you meant to know whether you’re gay or straight if you block puberty? By definition, gay people are more gender-nonconforming. This is because being attracted to someone of the same sex is gender-nonconforming. Research shows that people who are very notably gender-nonconforming in early youth often grow up to be gay. Of course, it’s more nuanced than that, because there are lots of little boys who want to play with dolls and are straight. But statistically speaking, if you’re very gender-nonconforming pre-puberty, you’re something like 20-times more likely to grow up gay.
These boys are now the people who are being told they’re probably girls. I think this is kind of a modern gay conversion therapy. They’re turning proto-gay boys into sterile facsimiles of straight girls.

I’ve been pointing this out for YEARS: gender ideology aligns perfectly with Iran’s treatment of gays and lesbians to either transing the gay away or death. And yet SO many ‘progressive’ people – including many outspoken gays – just waved this justified concern away by calling critics of the ideology transphobic and bigots and utterly failed (or were more concerned with signalling their progressive virtue) to see the very real danger to younger versions of themselves. The obvious sign no one should have missed was going from ‘Born this way’, which fuelled the gay rights movement into social acceptance, to ‘Born in the wrong body’, which has been catastrophic not just to young gays but especially young lesbians. And the majority of gays has just gone along to get along. Cowards. In hindsight, this abdication of moral responsibility to others by so many gay activists and some truly misguided lesbians is just shocking.

It goes a step further back. The queer theory that props this BS up has circumvented the academic scrutiny that is necessary to weed out bad ideas and ideas that do not comport with reality.
The subversion of the institutions that are supposed to instruments of knowledge and clarity continues to bite us in the ass as we have to deal with the end product of allowing destabilizing post-modern queer thought to go unchallenged in our academic institutions.
Giving credit where credit is due – the marxists learned their lessons from their failures in the West and rightly (for them) made their goal of subverting cultural institutions (ala Marcuse, Fallon, et cetera) their focus.

Nobody ever points out that little boys who play with dolls are practicing to be daddys just like little girls who play with dolls are practicing to be mommys. I don’t get how this is consistently missed.

Yeah, it’s one thing to have ridiculous and incoherent ideologies run around universities (I mean, seriously, queers for Palestine? It don’t get no dumber dan dat) and quite another for them to be implemented in public policy where scrutiny by those who best understand the personal issues involved should be screaming to the rooftops that it acts counter to the stated intentions of acceptance and kindness for the way people are born (the basis of establishing what is and is not discrimination). Gays should have seen the obvious discrepancy (gender ‘fluidity’) and should have mobilized their activism against it. Instead, they opened the doors for ideologues, autogynephobes, and mentally/emotionally distraught children to join their inclusive acronym (LGB plus T for trans(itioning) rather than T for trans(vestites) who – has anyone noticed – have all but disappeared entirely) and were either championing it in the name of gay rights (it’s not) or excusing it as personal freedom (it’s not). In both cases, they fell down on the job and allowed a form of conversion therapy to be institutionalized, widely promoted, legally protected, and medically available to vulnerable children that has only decimated and medicalized the next generation of gays and lesbians.
