Cheeky news of the week : Thanks CBC.
MEXICO CITY – A mayor in central Mexico says he has fired one of his town officials for spray-painting the buttocks of a teenage boy as punishment for graffiti tagging.
The mayor of San Juan del Rio in Queretaro state says police caught the 13-year-old tagging a wall last week and turned him over to the official. The official’s job is to impose penalties for petty crime.

That picture brings a new meaning to the phrase “fertile crescent.”

Brilliant. :)
Perhaps this should be an open pun thread to assist in plumbing the depths of this particular topic.

Woman
I THINK THIS SITE TALKS ABOUT WOMEN AND THEIR WELFARE BUT ON THE OTHER HAND EXPOSES THEIR FLESH IN THE FOTOS.
YOU CAN AT LEAST COVER THEIR PRIVATE PARTS IN THE FOTOS. ISLAMIC COUNTRIES ARE FAR BETTER AND CLEANER IN THEIR CENSORSHIP.
I HAVE DOUBTS ABOUT THIS WEBSITE. THERE SEEMS TO BE A HIDDEN MOTIVE.
BEWARE!

Sure – Islamic countries wouldn’t Photoshop the picture, they’d go one better and throw acid in the face of the woman who posed for it. That’s “far better and cleaner”, by far (NOT).
This website presents women as both human and intelligent contributors to society, not as acid-catchers. If it doesn’t meet your approval, then I hope that’s true for every other site except those located on or near the “buttcrack” of the globe so artfully depicted above.

You are completely on to us. How women dress should correspond directly to how we treat them. Oh wait…a large part of this blog is precisely about how wrong a notion that is. Women are human beings and deserve to be treated as such. Islam fails in that regard (as do most religions).
