At least where you are the weather firmly decides what season to be in. Over here, earlier this week, we got ice pellets, snow rain, and sunshine, all within a 24-hour period!

The weather around here is scheduled to be zany as well. We have a balmy +3 to look forward to on Tuesday. Just enough warmth for the snow to melt and freeze into ice everywhere :/

Omg, I normally don’t mind winter, but this turning from 1C \lows to -36 lows overnight is a bit much.

Was it really that quick? Damn! I just got to Edmonton yesterday and it wasn’t so much the cold, but that frigging wind! Nothing like a real fire, though, once you get in! I miss that a lot down south.

I can’t speak for Edmonton, but down here in southern Alberta it sure was. It was literally one day of having above zero temperature and the next having -18 as the high.

The annual Winter Solstice Wiener Roast is always a hit. It’s just all the sliding around the firepit because of the melting snow turning to ice which is problematic.
