All slides are from the presentation by Dr. Cathy Higgins.
Given that power works best from the shadows (insert creepy *mou-ah-ah-ah, here), it is always beneficial to bring the artifice of power into plain sight so can be properly evaluated and critiqued. If one doesn’t know what Patriarchy is, then how can it ever be brought down? Finding the root of the problem and working toward solving that problem – what radical feminism is – provides the means not only to criticize our patriarchal society, but to change it.
Lofty goals aside, for the critical work to get done, a common base of knowledge must be established, hence the reason for our 14 slide foray into the land of patriarchy.

This about sums it up. Excellent presentation.
A quote I came upon this morning:
The abuse of women and girls is the most pervasive and unaddressed human rights violation on earth. Women’s inequality has profoundly affected our world.
It’s from Jimmy Carter. There is more, and all of it wonderful, here:

If such a deeply religious man like Carter can understand it, there is no reason others should not.

P.S. But the first bulleted statement is only half correct: men are from Mars, and women are from Malleus Maleficarum.

P.S.S. Let me just vent, ever so briefly, about the Roman gods / planets / gamete symbols used to represent the sexes: the male dynamic arrow points upward, toward the sky, in an undeniable representation of movement (and a right(eous) one at that); while the female is immovable and solidly grounded — by a cross, no less…
And when the symbols are entwined / connected, “naturally” the male dynamic movement is constrained by the female earth-bound solidness in the cliched ball-and-chain fashion. The negative implications are obvious.
Yes, I understand the symbolism of our biological reality (mobile sperm vs. stationary egg ‘n all), but sheesh. We need to come up with something better.
