Derangement syndrome: The acute onset of paranoia in otherwise normal and balanced people triggered by the mention of a specific topic.
Example, questioning what ‘gender’ is, what it means, how it is different from sex, and the beyond rational response that such questioning is tantamount to a ‘genocide’ against transgender believers and an expression of hate. It’s not just extreme idiocy in denying fact but a rejection of allowing reality to arbitrate claims made about reality (is it rational to insist feelings trump biology?). This is an irrational method. Hence, the thinking is deranged.

Well-said. Gender ideology contains the seeds of its own self-destruction (its moralistic imperatives, its ethical vapidity, its roots in postmodernist performance). The pressing question is how many will have been harmed, how much will have been lost, and how long will we have had to actively counter this nonsense until it implodes.
