Thanks, Arb. The link works well to access the entire letter at an easily readable font.
And it IS an important letter, especially for anyone in any authoritative position able to support, influence, or effect access to ‘gender care’. Operating from a position of knowledge may be out of style but it remains the only common ground to connect us with and to reality. For those who dismiss reality in the name of something else – especially for those in positions of authority – and think yourself virtuous and ‘kind’ affirming gender care, your opinion is an empty belief statement divorced from knowledge-based evidence (as this letter clearly demonstrates) so therefore not using evidence adduced reasoning. Support for ‘affirmation only’ policies is an ideological position equivalent in all ways to cult-like indoctrination because that is all you have to offer. No authority based on this indoctrinated belief is legitimate.
