How can we end this aggressive transphobic propaganda campaign once and for all?

VRR’s goal is to take vulnerable women and brainwash them with anti-trans propaganda.

Canadian cogitations about politics, social issues, and science. Vituperation optional.

“An anti-lockdown march in downtown Vancouver nearly spiralled out of control when dozens of protesters surrounded a hospital entrance and began berating frontline healthcare workers.
Vancouver’s anti-lockdown protests are mainly organized by anti-vaccine activists, along with a flat earth conspiracy group and individuals linked to far-right politics who promote the events through a web of private Facebook groups.
Multiple videos live streamed by participants show the crowd marching down the middle of Burrard Street on Sunday afternoon, before coming to a stop in front of the ambulance bay at St. Paul’s Hospital.
One protester shouted into a megaphone that they wanted to “talk to the doctors.”
Protesters can be heard directing chants of “no vaccines” and “let us in” at several healthcare workers who wandered outside the emergency room in their protective masks and medical scrubs.
“The hospitals are empty,” yelled one protester, along with others who are heard shouting “tell the truth” and demanding to know: “What are you hiding?”
“You’re all corrupt,” shouted another.
Protesters displayed signs referencing several conspiracies related to vaccines and 5G technology, including various messages blaming the government, Bill Gates and Satan for the lockdown.”
Nothing good has come from the Anti-Vax movement. Prove me wrong. jfc.
Medium took the article down, but I’ve reproduced it here to demonstrate the misogyny and violence that is inherent in transactivism. This article drips with virulent hate toward women daring to defend their boundaries and spaces.
Read the oh so progressive transactivists and their goals.

VRR’s goal is to take vulnerable women and brainwash them with anti-trans propaganda.

Dr. Jane Clare Jones has a insightful analysis: on the brutal misogyny in this Medium piece.

There is nothing progressive about threatening and abusing women, and that is what Transactivism is, as demonstrated here.
Bill C-8 as currently written is bad news for children and the female population of Canada.
“It is a mark of cruelty to use the law to force confused, dysphoric children and their parents to embrace the transition to a life of permanent hormone therapy, surgery and disillusion. Most dysphoric children, if granted the support and opportunity, will accept and regain comfort with their biology by the age of 18. On Twitter there are hundreds of people lamenting that they were allowed to take cross-sex hormones when they were confused and vulnerable children, brainwashed by websites like Buzzfeed and their own gender-confused culture. They ask: “Why was I allowed to do this to myself? How come no one older and wiser stopped me?” Their sorrow is palpable.
Bill C-8’s all-encompassing definition of “conversation therapy” interferes in the future happiness and lives of children. Once opposite-sex hormones have wreaked havoc on a young developing body, including causing lifelong sterility, there is no going back.
Good intentions are not enough to make for good law. Canadians appreciate the importance of helping children and teens navigate the challenges of modern social media, the hyper-sexualization in our culture, body image, sexual identity and other topics in this 21st century reality. Puberty is full of angst, confusion and turmoil for many teenagers. Canadians appreciate that compassionate, loving parents, along with medical and mental health professionals using evidence-based approaches, should not face jail time for working through these challenges. Parents and medical professionals should mobilize against the ideological and knee-jerk approach of Bill C-8.”
Thank you We The Females and CaWsbar for composing this letter to the editor regarding the malicious hi-jinks of Bill C-8. Please take the time and and raise awareness of this important issue.
We need to get the word out and get C-16 repealed. Protect Canadian Women (adult human females).
Justin Trudeau refuses to release the Gender Based Analysis for Bill C-16
When Justin Trudeau became Prime Minister of Canada, he promised to do a Gender-Based Analysis (GBA) before passing any new legislation. A GBA is a study on the impact of new legislation on women and girls. It now appears that a GBA may not have been done on Bill C-16, the legislation that adds gender identity and expression to the Canadian Human Rights Act and the Criminal Code.
Many women’s groups have requested a copy of the GBA for Bill C-16, and the government is still refusing to release it. A Twitter campaign called #ReleaseTheGba has brought many concerned Canadians together to petition the government to publish it. If the government cannot produce this GBA, it must admit that this protocol was never followed, which will further undermine the appropriateness of passing Bill C-16.
Finally, after a number of MPs turned down the opportunity to sponsor this petition, Derek Sloan courageously accepted the challenge. If you support government transparency and the rights of girls and women, please click on the link below, read the short description and sign this petition.
Canadians please follow the link and sign the petition, we need to fight the gender unreality that is currently codified in our laws.
A quick click at Canadahelps.org gets you to the donation page for a 15 dollar membership, follow the instructions so you can get a proxy and a vote to ensure that the Bread & Roses Women’s Centre remains a safe female only space. Holly will guide you through the rest of the process.

Thank you to all who follow up and support Canadian Women.
You would think that our dear UCP government wouldn’t be so brazen in their attempt scuttle the investigation into their dark little web of political hackery. Apparently not. Their solution to being investigated by the Electoral commissioner is well… fire the electoral commissioner.
*blinks*
“The Office of the Election Commissioner has been dissolved and transferred to the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Elections Alberta said in a news release Friday.Bill 22, the Reform of Agencies, Boards and Commissions and Government Enterprises Act, came into effect on Friday, the agency said.On Thursday, the legislature passed the bill, which included the firing of election commissioner Lorne Gibson. Alberta NDP Leader Rachel Notley said Thursday the quick passage of the bill is the mark of a premier and government “consumed by power and unconcerned by the views of Albertans.” Gibson was leading the investigation into the so-called “kamikaze” campaign of UCP leadership candidate Jeff Callaway and had levied fines against 15 people totalling $207,223.
Callaway allegedly entered the race to discredit former Wildrose leader, and Kenney’s chief rival, Brian Jean, only to drop out and endorse Kenney weeks later. Kenney and Callaway deny they worked together to defeat Jean, but emails obtained by CBC News show high-ranking Kenney officials providing resources, including strategic political direction, media, and debate talking points, speeches, videos and attack advertisements, to the Callaway campaign.”
It should be readily apparent to both sides of the political spectrum that an investigation is warranted. We, as a populace, need to be able to trust our democratic institutions. It is bullshit like this that negates all the ‘get out the vote’ and ‘express your voice’ and ‘do your civic duty’ sentiment we are bombarded with before elections.
As a active citizenry we should be taking part in the political process the rest of the time, but that is another blog post.
“Edmonton-Manning MLA Heather Sweet, the NDP critic for democracy and ethics, sent a letter to Resler on Friday asking him to provide a report to the legislature on the steps he will take to preserve the material Gibson gathered during his investigation.
“Public confidence in the integrity of our democratic elections in Alberta has been significantly damaged,” Sweet wrote. “Any loss, misplacement or destruction of the evidence being gathered by Mr. Gibson in his investigations would lead to further irreparable damage to that confidence.”
This investigation is, rather ineptly, being swept under the carpet. Thankfully the NDP is doing what good oppositions do, and not letting the issue be buried.
