Anti-racism is EXPLICITELY racist. It teaches people to frame the world and everything in it as all about race, to BECOME racist foot soldiers in the service of this toxic ideology. It teaches children to skin colour for all the world’s ills and to advocate for social and legal discrimination against whites in particular on the basis of this immutable characteristic. Anti-racism by design is 100% racist.
Those who believe anti-racism means teaching children about the history of past racial discrimination are factually wrong and so they are either completely ignorant of what anti-racism MEANS or utterly deluded about what they are advocating for (often confusing racial ‘equity’ for racial ‘equality’… they couldn’t BE more wrong). Anti-racist supporters are in fact advocating for racism.
And so when one criticizes the intentional teaching and fostering of racism inherent in anti-racist doctrine that is being imposed on children throughout education as we speak, one is immediately accused of being a racist, of trying to ‘whitewash’ history! One is therefore a bigot and a racist and promoter of white supremacy and deserving of all manner of maximum disapproval and reproach. This is what being ‘cancelled’ is all about. This is the virtue signaling going on by those trying to demonstrate their anti-racist street cred and why apologizing for some perceived racial offense only stimulates even greater and greater ‘cancellation’. Douglas Murray’s solution is to tell such signalers in any and all circumstances to fuck off.
I am shocked any rational person who is NOT a racist would believe and then support any of this anti-racist bullshit and yet… here we are. Anti-racism is being embedded in legislation in all kinds of areas and embraced by institutions under the guise of ‘promoting’ Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. It does just the opposite.
So when – not if – one encounters the oft-mandatory ‘implicit bias’ retraining programs endemic in the corporate and governmental world, for example, one is encountering anti-racism in action. Criticizing this intentional teaching of and imposition of racial bigotry makes one a bigot.
See how this works?

This is what the problem is.
Grappling with the notion of Anti-racism is quite challenging because talking with other people one has to establish the proper framework to even talk about it in a reasonable manner. The last conversation I had, I found that there are so many assumptions that need to be challenged just to get the part where we can agree that there is a window to criticize this version of anti-racism.
