I think the telling “faith-based” inference this whackjob ideology REALLY does have at its core (e.g. the almost bizarro Biblical-style adherence to the conflation of Sex with gender being some “role playing game”…or the flagrant animosity toward actual gay couples) CANNOT BE STRESSED *ENOUGH*. IMO: those attitudes give-up the game behind the true intent of this “movement” and show that the (conveniently) timed astroturfing of it was, in fact, revenge for #MeToo (as well as from, at least, the POV of someone here in the ‘States: a mind-insulting attempt by America’s financially and ethically-bankrupt culture war to push back against women now having enough political agency to demand accountability of a social safety net not even meeting peoples’ needs TO SURVIVE in this economic era — the element of these “magical identities” always aligning with religious stereotype overtones just screams Establishment fraternity all over the place).
